I know a lot of people in the mortgage industry, and in late 2009 when rates were good and home prices were bad, I spoke to a lot of different people about what I could do to refinance my ARM into a low fixed rate. Basically everyone said I was out of luck since my home value was so much lower and I was underwater. However, Dan informed me about the DU Refi Plus program that helped homeowners in my exact situation. My home was appraised for about $100K less that I bought it for, but Dan still got me refinance to go through. He really knows his stuff. I now recommend EMcore Mortgage to all of my neighbors since I know they are most likely in the same boat as me.
